as a multinational organisation, zxy’s trading & internal practises are shaped by inbuilt global and social consciousness throughout the company. zxy’s commitment to corporate social responsibility covers ethical and environmental issues, staff training and development. not only does this provide a valuable contribution to society and the planet, but also ultimately enhances the level and quality of service to customers offered by the zxy team, and in turn contributes to the growth of the company.

there are three main spheres of csr addressed by zxy:

a) factories are all comprehensively and continuously evaluated to ensure social compliance. zxy monitors the welfare & working environment, facilities (medical,  food & water, transport, childcare) and labour policies, ensuring optimal conditions for all those involved within the supply chain, with a zero tolerance on child labour and other poor practises. zxy’s code of labour practise and comprehensive compliance manual can both be obtained upon request.

b) zxy’s unique management style & structure enables staff at all levels to raise ideas & concerns with senior management, and zxy’s offices provide unique working places taking into account needs & sensitivities with a wide range of facilities and comfortable environment. evaluations, discussions, motivational seminars and courses on energy & yoga help staff to raise levels of personal development. a strong recycling scheme, including minimising paper wastage and recycling of items such as cans & bottles, is a part of zxy’s green policy regarding the environment.

c) zxy’s outreach programme contributes back to wider society through charitable monetary & in kind donations to various development agencies, NGOs & charities including the Aga Khan Foundation which develops and promotes creative solutions to social, health, education & rural development problems across Asia & Africa (http://www.akdn.org) and the Hazrat Muhammed Institute for the teaching of the blind, in Dhaka, the city where zxy’s manufacturing headquarters are located.
